LoloBuy Warehouse Storage: 180-Day Guide (2026)
Plan around LoloBuy's 180-day free storage, 150-day reminder, unmatched parcels, consolidation, package removal and split shipments.
This article explains LoloBuy's published process in original editorial language. Live seller terms, warehouse options, routes and prices can change; confirm them inside your account before paying.
Warehouse storage is valuable because different sellers rarely dispatch on the same day. It lets you wait, review arrivals and build an international parcel from eligible items. It also creates a deadline. If the warehouse is treated as unlimited storage, one slow seller or forgotten item can turn a useful consolidation period into fees or disposal risk.
LoloBuy's official help centre currently states 180 days of free storage for ordinary stored items. It says a reminder is sent after 150 days and that items may be treated as abandoned after 180 days if no parcel is submitted and no feedback is provided. These facts were checked on October 14, 2026. Policies can change, so the live countdown shown for each item in My Warehouse remains the operational source.
Start the clock from the warehouse record, not the purchase date
A product can spend time in purchasing, seller dispatch, domestic transit and stock-in before it becomes a stored item. The warehouse window belongs to the storage record, not the day you first paid. Record the stock-in date and displayed countdown for every item. Do not apply one date to an entire haul when sellers delivered on different days.
The official policy also describes a separate thirty-day period for unusual or unmatched parcels—items signed by the warehouse before the order or logistics information can be matched to a user. Because those parcels cannot reliably trigger a normal reminder, the buyer should contact support promptly with tracking and order evidence rather than expecting the ordinary 180-day workflow.
The first warehouse task is QC, not consolidation
Open each arrival while the seller's return window can still be useful. Confirm quantity, colour, size, model and visible condition. Standard warehouse photos are evidence of visible facts, not authentication or a performance guarantee. If a measurement, label, connector or suspected defect changes the decision, request the appropriate additional service before accepting the item.
Group the outcome into four states: accept, request more evidence, return or hold. Only accepted items should move into parcel planning. Combining unresolved items into a parcel makes seller after-sales more difficult and can turn a domestic return into an international problem.
Build a warehouse inventory that answers decisions
A simple spreadsheet row should include LO number, product, seller, stock-in date, remaining days, warehouse weight, dimensions if available, restriction label, QC decision and likely parcel group. Add the current marketplace price only for reference; it does not replace the order record.
Sort by remaining days, not purchase excitement. The oldest accepted item sets the practical deadline for its parcel group. A new item with 179 days remaining does not extend an older item's countdown. Review the list weekly while a haul is active and daily once any item approaches the final month.
Consolidation saves repeated charges, but it changes eligibility
Combining items can reduce repeated first-weight charges and fill a carton more efficiently. That is the main economic reason to wait for several sellers. But consolidation can also create a parcel that is too heavy, too large or incompatible with a preferred route. One battery, liquid, branded-risk item or unusually long product can remove otherwise suitable lines.
Compare at least two scenarios: a single consolidated parcel and a logical split. A logical split groups products with compatible route rules and protection needs. It may separate fragile goods from heavy shoes, a restricted item from ordinary clothing, or a bulky jacket from dense accessories. Do not split parcels by an internet “safe weight” formula; use the actual live route list for your destination.
Estimated weight is only the starting input
LoloBuy explains estimated weight as warehouse item weight plus expected packing material. After parcel submission and final packaging, the warehouse records real weight. The platform then reconciles the freight: overpayment may be returned to the account and a deficiency may require supplemental payment under the current parcel rules.
A light parcel can still be expensive when its volume is large. Routes that charge dimensional weight compare the packed carton with a formula based on length, width and height. The divisor differs by route family. The LoloBuy shipping cost guide explains why one copied volumetric formula cannot price every line.
Use packaging removal only after the return decision
LoloBuy's free package-removal service can remove excess outer packaging, product boxes, bags or shoe boxes while retaining necessary protection where appropriate. It can reduce scale weight, volume or both. The largest benefit often comes on a dimensional route when a rigid box creates empty space.
There are two limits. First, package removal does not guarantee a lower billing tier. Second, the official notice says an item cannot be returned or exchanged after original packaging is removed. Finish QC and seller after-sales first. If a box matters for protection, gifting or preservation, do not select the service by default.
Choose packaging for the billing method and the product
LoloBuy's official packaging guide separates parcels billed by actual weight from parcels billed by volume. A bag can be efficient for flexible clothing, while a carton can protect structured or fragile items. For volume-billed parcels, the warehouse may minimize gaps and cut excess carton. That can reduce dimensions but may also make the carton less rigid.
Protection has a cost, but damage has a larger one. Use reinforcement when the product needs it and compare that added weight or size with the risk. A dense, robust parcel and a light, crushable parcel should not automatically use the same packaging plan.
Do not treat day 180 as the shipping date
The warehouse still needs time to verify the parcel, perform selected services, pack, measure and collect any supplemental payment. A return or missing confirmation can add another delay. Build a personal cutoff before the official end date. Thirty days of margin is more useful than a last-day support request.
The current storage page also publishes an overdue storage charge of CN¥1 per “LI” per day after the free period. Because the account is the place where LoloBuy identifies the stored unit and any charge, do not reinterpret that wording as a universal per-kilogram or per-parcel rate. Check the live warehouse ledger and ask support about the exact item before relying on a cost estimate. Paying an overdue charge would not necessarily protect an item indefinitely: the same official policy gives LoloBuy disposal rights for goods treated as abandoned after the storage period.
If LoloBuy sends the published 150-day reminder, treat it as an escalation, not the start of planning. Decide whether to ship, return, split or contact support immediately. Save the reminder and any reply. Silence after the free period can lead to disposal under the official policy.
A practical warehouse schedule
- At stock-in: record the countdown, weight and restriction label.
- Within the seller window: finish QC and any return request.
- While waiting: assign accepted items to compatible parcel groups.
- Before packaging: compare consolidated and split route lists.
- Before irreversible services: confirm that no return remains open.
- At submission: save the route, estimate and selected services.
- After packing: check real weight, dimensions and any adjustment.
- Before dispatch: resolve supplemental payment or account messages.
The warehouse is most useful when every day supports a decision. Track the item-specific clock, complete QC early, compare parcel scenarios with live route data and leave margin before the published 180-day limit. Consolidation should reduce friction, not postpone it.
